That was a great video and just as great music selection. Loved the mix of video and still pics. Reminds me of the first BWCA trip I went on. We all made sure to use "slide" film. When we got back, we had just as much fun putting together a slide show with music. Good times!

That looks like a perfect trip: good grub, good friends, and good weather, with an elder along to remind everyone how precious and fragile life is.

I will paddle eternal, Kevlar and carbon.

Thanks for noticing the music selections. :) I spend almost as much time looking for the right music to fit as I do editing the footage.
My family loves going back and watching the old adventures and memories made.

Thank you blutofish! We are in the planning stages for a winter camping trip for 2021. I'll create a video of that too! We've done 2 in the BWCA so far and looking for the location of our 3rd. Thanks for watching!

Outstanding video report! That fisher was very cool. Haven't seen many of them in the wild before, and never have I seen one that tame.

Thanks, MichiganMan. Yes, the fisher didn't seem to be too scared of us, that's for sure. I was able to get within about 6 feet of it. Thanks for the kind words and for watching!

Great video - and looked like unbelievable weather for October. We actually camped on the peninsula sight just to the south of the first one you tried. We sat and watched group after group pull up to the site but then never set up camp so we figured it wasn't too desirable. Glad you guys made the effort to pick up and move, the 2nd site looked a lot better.

Nice video trip report. fyi, the visitor to your first campsite was a typically curious pine marten not a fisher. you would likely not want to be that close to a fisher!
