Great report Derek. I really enjoyed your pics and thankfulness that you expressed along the way. Special times for a dad and sons in God's great creation!

Great report. Recently got a trip in with my son as well. That time spent together is like gold.

Love seeing the American Fisheries Society t-shirt your son had on. I'm also a member.

I too enjoyed the trip briefing.
Wish I could catch fish like that.

Thanks. We were blessed with some awesome fish for sure! Thanks to BWfishingfanatic12, QueticoMike, and others for fishing advice ahead of this trip - I put my oldest in charge of scoping this out, buying our tackle, and he nailed it.

My youngest son slept in the hammock - that is a Hennesy Jungle Expedition Zip - he loved it! I wish I had brought my ENO for just hanging around camp.

what a great trip! Thanks for sharing. Sounds like some crazy weather to start the trip for you and it looked like cold weather throughout due to having jackets on for many of the picture. Glad you were able to catch lots of fish! Amazing to see a God-honoring family enjoying the outdoors!
