Great trip report! I'm beyond jealous that you can spend 2 full weeks out there. Glad you made it out safely!

Awesome report! Although, knowing what a great photographer you are I was initially disappointed that I didn't see any photos mingled into the report. Alas my fears were for naught as I got to the end of the report. Of course, the photos included there did not disappoint.

Amazing that you could go that many days in that region and not see anyone. While on one sense, the solitude had to he nice; but it also had to be somewhat unsettling as time passed on.

Thanks for taking the time to put this all together. It was an excellent read.

....by the trip title, I thought there was going to be a Pink Floyd reference. :)

Thank you! And definitely a PF reference. Also I’ve added a few more photos.

Enjoyed that report - it's been a long time since I did virtually the same. One of my favorite trips. I didn't see much of anyone and not for days sometimes. I love it when that happens.

Excellent report. Thanks for taking the time to put it all together.

I regret not waiting for you at Loon Lk. I would have enjoyed visiting with a fellow member and getting your perspective on this route. I guess I tend to err on the side caution about not wanting to intrude on someone’s wilderness solitude so we kept on going.
This really was a great loop and an example of how putting in the extra miles can reward you with a lot of solitude.

It’s always hard to stop and chat on the portage so I understand. I thought by chance you might still be at end when I arrived, but you already halfway down Loon.
