Entry Point 38 - Sawbill Lake

Sawbill Lake entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 25 miles. Access is a boat landing at Sawbill Lake. This area was affected by blowdown in 1999.

i would never eat stuff in the woods. maybe if had a mushroom book along... maybe.


the second photo came back as edible but could cause gastric upset and allergic reactions after cooking. hmmm....


i have never liked eating mushrooms, however, taking photos of them from all angles is very pleasing to my visual palette.

Great trip report. Trips are so much better when you are eating good. Looks like you were doing good in food department with skillet, dragonfly stove and food pics. Last trip I poured water in Mountain House bags and it got old after two days. Hopefully next trip your other son can go too.
