Entry Point 75 - Little Isabella River

Little Isabella River entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Isabella, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 30 miles. Access is a 20-rod portage to the Little Isabella River. Several short portages before you reach th e Isabella River.

I just love this. So many great things, ie snowshoeing with family, the ultra quiet of a north woods winter, pictographs, and a perfect day. Thanks for posting this. Great pics.

We all have to believe in something. I believe I'll go paddle.

Wow! Great trip report. Never really considered a winter trip to,rhe Boundary Waters but now I might. My snowshoes are kinda dusty so maybe I should plan something.
I really enjoyed the photos. The pictographs look so clear that it’s hard for me to think they are very old. Thanks for sharing.
