Sounds like a good place to take your wife if you don't want to travel long distances. The Northern Pike must have fought hard being that big.

Sounds like a good trip. I plan on doing this trip in the next few years. I had a fisher in my camp on Caribou this summer but only saw him once and he didn't get into my bag thankfully.

Matty,

You know if you were to bring a Wookie with you they can chase those fishers away!

sounds like a good wife trip for me, will have to keep that in mind.

Definitely is a great trip for a low key long weekend. My wife and I had a great Labor day weekend last year on Perent Lake. We went based on Kanoes' recommendation, and I have to say he was spot on!

Haef....

No photos of the Pike? Or did the fisher stash it in the peanut butter bag....

That is a nice report, thanks for posting!

I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it!

Nice Report. I as well love that route. Have been there twice. Perent has been my all time favorite lake to fish. Probably because the last time I was there I caught the most Walleye in one day. More than Mr. Trix & his son & his buddy. I was so proud! At least your little mischevious critter wasn't a chupacabra. Thanks for sharing!
