Entry Point 36 - Hog Creek

Hog Creek entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Isabella; Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 30 miles. Access is a 15-rod portage to Hog Creek leading into Perent Lake.

Short...but sweet. My son and I spent a couple nights on Perent in August. A very nice paddle down the creek and a real pretty area. Thanks for sharing. Funny food pack story!

Nice Report. We went in on Hog Creek 2 years ago. It was a great trip.

Glad the first trip went well for her, so you can get her back up there more often! That's a great entry for a short trip, as you have the crazy curvy twists of the creek and then the regular lake paddling.
