Nice report. I can't wait until I do a solo. Maybe this fall.

Good for you! I love that loop. Nice report even without the pics. Glad you've got that under your belt now.

I am still mustering the courage to go solo. Good to hear that your first solo was a success.

Matt, Welcome to the Solo's Club! Great Report! You have more energy than I do! So you mean to tell me there "really are bears" in the BDub?????? I still don't believe it!

No worries Trixie; I'm sure it was a chipmunk in bear's clothing;) And yes, I am hooked now, can't wait to do it again.

Nice trip report. I'm glad to hear it went well for you and you enjoyed your solo. It's nice being able to just make spur of the moment changes in your trip. I often see more wildlife (and other things) when I'm solo...at least until I start talking to myself :).

I really liked your report and writing style. I don't think my wife would act the same as yours.

I love the way you narrate your trip. Even without photos, I felt as if I experienced the scenery and feelings. Love how you describe the merganser and the loon fishing.

Matt, Nice report.

So looking at what you ate, how did you get the name Camp Cook? Ha Ha.

Ha! I guess that when I'm not trying to please everybody else on a trip, food becomes much less important... Might have to change my moniker to "boils water"
