Nice report.

We will be in the Fairy, Gun, Moosecamp area next week. Interested to know what the campsite was like on Fairy that you stayed at and what the fishing was like on the lakes you fished.

Our first planned overnight stop is on Fairy.

Sorry your dad could not make it. We always travel with family and it makes for great times.

Airmorse,

The campsite was alright, had two spots for tents. Hanging a tarp was a little bit of a chore also. I would recommend the eastern site if you have a choice. Fishing wasn't that good on Fairy, but that doesn't mean it hasn't picked up. Most all of the fish we caught was up on Crooked Lake. Send me an email if you have any other questions.

Nice report. I did those portages from Fourtown to Mudro today. I scouted out that first one and lined my kayak up the stream to the easier take out. I almost died on the last 30 rod to Mudro. I had my backpack on and the kayak on top. I had to do this in the water because of all the rocks. I took a step back for some reason and I fell backwards. I tried to get my backpack out of my kayak but one strap was caught and the kayak was floating down stream. I finally found the cord and got it out. I was soaked and the kayak and packpack were much heavier.

Sorry about the long response. Thanks again for the report.

Loved the report, do you have a pix of your big walleye?

Always be the second one in the outhouse, it's going to smell anyway so you might as well have a warm seat.

Thanks bobby726, that picture was suppose to be in the report. Due to technical difficulty. . . . . It's in there now.

Good report. I was on the north end of Sawbill the same time. We were all by ourselves most of the time. Fishing was OK. Great to see you were able to go with your son, too bad about your father.
