Entry Point 36 - Hog Creek

Hog Creek entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Isabella; Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 30 miles. Access is a 15-rod portage to Hog Creek leading into Perent Lake.

thanks for posting your thoughts and photos of the burn area. sounds like a fun trip, wildlife, fish, great campsite... and you want to return.

Thank-you for the write-up. I tripped into Polly last year and had a great time. It is disheartening to say the least about the effects of the fire. It was a beautiful area and I'm sure that even as depressing as it may seem, it is still just as beautiful but in a new way. Congrats on your first over-nighter and here's to many more for you!
