Very nice report and some stunning photos. I've not yet been to Brule, but this report has me planning on it some day.

Great report or reports! :)

We were in Brule bay last August and that campsite had already been burned. The rangers at Tofte told us that campers had inadvertantly started it a week or so earlier. They hadn't closed it. But, told us to avoid it if at all possible.

The waterfall between Brule bay & Vernon really is a special place. I'm surprised, because I don't hear or see nearly anything about it. (At least not when compared to similar falls like Johnson, Cattyman, Eddy etc.) I've wondered if it even has a name.

Here is my report from last summer. Brule bay baby

Glad to hear you didn't have any problems with the shoulder. Bet it was nice to "get back in the saddle"? So to speak.

As always, you do a great job putting together your reports. Really seemed to be an interesting adventure where you seen alot of different areas. But, all within proximity of one lake. Cool beans! Thanks for taking the time to share your story & photos.

TB,

Your rendition of the campsite fire rings more true from what we saw. I enjoyed your report as well! That little waterfall area is still a most beautiful site for me and will hold many memories. Your little one had a great trip and I'm glad you didn't meet that big old bull face to face!
