Great report!

What with hurricane Ester 'n' all. Perhaps it was fortuitous good fortune that this was not your wifes introductory trip? It's been an awfully rainy spring.

Sounds like you guys had a blast fishing & were able to get off the beaten path a little as well. And, congratulations on your first laker. Here's to many more. BTW you really sucked me in on all the garnishs etc you claimed to use preparing the trout meal. (I thought WOW! these guys go all out!) Thanks for letting me off the hook. LOL

Thanks for taking the time to share your story & photos. Really enjoyed it.

Nice trip report. Don't you love it when you have a river under the tent?

Loved the report and photos Patrick...with all the rain we had a few days it felt like we were sleeping on waterbeds. Our tent floor was floating up off the ground. Our ground tarp which was inside the tent kept us pretty dry though:)

well done! the trip and the report. love how flexible you were when things didn't work out as planned, just morph the trip and keep on going. Fun to see another T4 tent up there in pics. Drooling over the fish meals.
