Thanks for sharing! Daddy/daughter trips are special; I've made many, but this year my girls-ages 16, 15 & 14-were not interested. I know this is natural, but it was kind of a bummer going through the summer with no trips where my girls accompanied me. I hope, like your daughter Jessica, that mine will again some day want to return.

Nice trip report Troy! It was a pleasure meeting you and your daughter, and everyone was right, Oyster is a beauty. The night before we went in I told the guys that we might run into you the next day, so it was cool to bump into you right away at the E.P. and then the odds of seeing you on the way out after going to LIS...astounding! I feel a bit like a slacker now though. I should probably put a trip report of my own!!

Nice report. I have been going with my Alyssa for 5-6 years now. She just started a new job so I am not sure we'll get up there this year. Sadly, as they get older sometimes they get distant. Last time a read a father/daughter trip report I promptly tried to call her. She never returned my call that time. It's too late to call now. Maybe in the morning.

Without the bad times, the good times wouldn't seem so good.
