Just read your report. We were the couple camped on the other site on Fairy when you were there and wouldn't have minded if you paddled over to talk. We also saw you on Moosecamp, which is where we went when we left Fairy. You were the only people we saw when camped there for 4 nights. It's a good thing you didn't try to paddle down Moosecamp creek. We did on Saturday, and the water was extremely low. We have done that route before and because of that experience, we will not do it again. It was pushing and poling for the last half.
Anyway, good report. Glad you enjoyed your first trip.

That's cool that you happened to read my report and were the ones we saw up there. Makes me feel better that we didn't go down the Moosecamp River now. I remember seeing one of you standing on the shore of your campground on Moosecamp and thinking that you had a nice isolated spot there just to enjoy being alone and then we showed up to ruin the isolation.

Thanks for that great in-depth report! I like the longer ones.
Bummer about the tires. My cousin went moose hunting by Ely nearly 10 years ago and after they shot one they drove into town and stopped at that same gas station. A guy from the newspaper saw them and ran over and interviewed them. They got their picture in the paper with the moose and the gas station.
See you up there on your second trip!
