Entry Point 20 - Angleworm Lake

Angleworm Lake entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Kawishiwi Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 18 miles. Access is a 640-rod portage to Angleworm Lake.

Hey Red Pine, thanks for the little report. I love that area and hope to go back soon. Sorry you didn't have good weather and cooperating fish, but hey, you were there!


So did you turn your canoe around and sit in the bow seat? I do that frequently with my SR17 and have a center kneeling pad. It works pretty darn good, even in stiff winds.

We all have to believe in something. I believe I'll go paddle.
