Glad you had such a nice trip. Good weather is a blessing - It looked like everyone was enjoying it. Last fall I had nearly perfect weather for 8 days and it made for a very nice trip.

Great report!

Your story & photos do a great job showing what an awesome area, for virtually every purpose, that is. That little peninsula on Neglige is a neat spot.

Thanks for taking the time to share.

What a great trip for you and and your family. Looks like you really lucked out on the conditions with great fishing to boot! I'm somewhat jealous of you as I would love to experience what you did with family. While I've got one son who is enthused about the BWCA, the rest of my family is just not into it. I always need to find "outsiders" to share the experience with.

Love the close-up photo of the sunglasses, showing the reflection of your beautiful surroundings

We have come to like this trip quite a bit. I do feel a little crowded at times but there are also places to get away from the traffic but best of all is the fishing is really good. Here is a link to my report from 2014.

I really believe the lake trout fishing has improved on Knife the last 30 years.
