And....of course I forgot some stuff so I'll add it here I guess. Here is our route I drew out a bit ago. Measures around 48 miles but we did quite a few more with checking campsites, curves in creeks, fishing, etc.

That's the one thing I miss when tripping in September....blueberry pancakes. We're doing the Mudro to Friday Bay and back trip in about 2 1/2 weeks. Hope the fishing picks up.

Hope you enjoyed your trip in spite of the rain.

At least on this trip just based on the fishing, I wish I could have called the outfitter and said to pick us up in the evening instead of morning and we would have stayed on Crooked another day or two. Those lakes to the south are nice but the fishing was terrible (for the most part). A front was coming thru those days too so I guess I shouldn't blame it all on the lakes.

I was trying to keep the report short, but after reading some others today I should have added more. So much to say after a much anticipated trip! My wife loved it being her first time and we're planning our next trip already and who we should bring. We single portaged the Wagosh-Gun and she double-packed the whole thing. She also had the canoe and was fine on the 2 worst portages of the trip conditions-wise, I couldn't be more proud.

Thanks! It was our first time staying in your bunkhouse and the food and canoes we had were great. We already have a trip in the plans for next year
