Entry Point 62 - Clearwater Lake

Clearwater Lake entry point allows overnight paddle or motor (10 HP max). This entry point is supported by Gunflint Ranger Station near the city of Grand Marais, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 33 miles. Motors allowed on Clearwater Lake only. This area was affected by blowdown in 1999.

Mooseplums - How did you do? We had one 16" female - that was the biggest. With the weather, I was happy to not get skunked. I know there has to be some big guys in there.

I didn't fish pemmican ....but I fished mountain for Lakers for a couple days and exited on the 1st.....got out before the really crappy weather hit.

We were also in during that time frame. (West side of BW) October sure came in like a lion! Glad you were able to make the best of the situation & still get up to Pemmican Lake.
