Grandpa always says that outdoors people are the best. I think he's right. Glad that everything worked out for you.

Glad everything worked out. Sag Joe's grandpa is spot on!!

The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

That is cool. Getting all your stuff back like that . I like how you say seven kids at the end. Having fun in the BW will keep you young. Nicely played.

Great story. Sounds like the kids had a great time.

Well done dad.

Can relate to not eating 'trophy' fish except for me it was with my father. Although he didn't cry, he carried on at length about having to release (and not eat) the trophy bass he caught. Glad everything worked out for you and all had a good time.

Hey Dbor, sounds like we were neighbors for a couple of days. We came into Ensign on Monday Morning and came back out Thursday afternoon. We were at 1269 on the island just west of the narrows. Should have my trip report posted shortly. Fishing was good that week, I believe thanks to the cooler weather.

I wish I were, I wish I might, I wish I was in the BWCA tonite!

Good to hear, glad you got it all back!

Also good to hear the canoe didn't get bent around a tree or worse.
