Could you please provide the recipe you used for your Potato Fish Chowder? I have been looking for a recipe like this for my trips. Shore lunch is getting old.

Fantastic pictures too by the way.

I use a 1/2 a bag of potato soup mix. I then add in extra dehydrated hash browns (1/2 a cup or more). Follow the soup mix directions and add the chunks of fish during the last 5 minutes of boiling.

Here is the soup mix I used but there are several different brands.

We stayed on Gabbro 4-5 years ago. Nice area and not nearly as busy as I thought it would be. Decent fishing too.

Thanks for sharing.

This is incredibly helpful, thanks! Approximately how much fish did you add in? 1-2 fillets? -SJ

The fist night we added about a 3lb walleye. The second night we added a 5lb northern and a 2ln small mouth. Add as much fish as you would like. Personally the more I can fit in the pot the better.
