That's a fantastic trip and great fishing. You could be a salesman for Quetico Mike's tips...now I have to go buy some more fishing lures. :)

This trip was so different; I think I caught two fish on leeches the entire trip. The Zulus were magic; particularly in a darker color with red flakes; I will see if I still have the package. I had to supply the who crew once we started to find what worked. Also the lucky 13 was so much fun for both bass and pike. Mine is tore up from the trip.

Great trip. I especially like to read the reports of places we've been that bring back to mind images of the area. Thanks.

Great trip report. Sounds like some fun. been out of Mudro once but we went up through Boot and Fairy. I'll definitely have to hit up basswood sometime though!

Nice report--sounds like an awesome trip. I like the fish pictures but my favorite photo is the one where it looks like the canoe is floating through the sky!

That is one of my favorite pictures of the trip also. I posted it upside down intentionally. I love the other worldliness of the image viewed like that.

So, THAT'S how you did it! I was trying to figure out how you did the picture and the lake's reflection is so clear that I didn't notice that the shot was posted upside down. Once you mentioned it, it was easy to see but initially kind of a mind bender. Cool!
