08/13/2019 02:26PMbobbernumber3: "awbrown: "The Winter Camping Symposium is just around the corner. Seventy four days and counting." I may not be remembering correctly, but they posted the schedule on their website and urged people to check the schedule with their smart phones. In years past, they published a schedule on paper. |

08/13/2019 12:28PMawbrown: "The Winter Camping Symposium is just around the corner. Seventy four days and counting." I really enjoyed my first WCS last year, even though it rained a bit. I was able to attend some sessions and sell several items at the gear swap. I wished there was a little more guidance for first-timers regarding event timing, locations, directions, beer-drinking social hours, etc. I'm not sure if I can make it this year. |

08/13/2019 11:54AM I've donated more blood to mosquitos and biting flies this summer than the Red Cross would say is allowable in a 90 day period. I've been thinking of starting a wood pile specifically for this winter too, but will wait until it an be done without any further donations. |

08/12/2019 10:41AM Usually by July when it is hot and humid I start wishing for Fall if not Winter. Just not a fan of Minnesota summers. |

08/12/2019 08:04AM I sawed up a fallen branch in the yard and added it to my winter camping woodpile. Its a beautiful summer morning in the UP. And I'm dreaming of winter camping. Something is wrong with me. |
