As of this June, a user on different site wrote,
"Portage is not on all maps and it's not maintained. However, it is in good shape with some downed trees. Portage entrance from McFarland is more to the east than indicated here on the map. It's up and up and up and up (going from McFarland). You'll know when you are going down as you'll feel like putting canoe down and sledding the rest of the way. I counted 4 trees to climb over. Was a hot day so immediately jumped into East Pike once the portage was complete."

I haven’t been on it, but I saw it from shore on McFarland a few years ago. Easy to spot. I hear it’s between 230-260 rods and shares a trail with the BRT for a while. Check out this link in the maps section. McFarland-East Pike Portage

Hope this helps.

Please let me know what you know and what year the info is from.

Many Thanks! :)
