05/23/2022 04:52PM Been through Red Rock many a time; going back this year actually. It seems to be an area where people paddle in to go fish, or just paddle through. Almost every time there has seemed to be open sites when I have been in the area. And even if it is full up, sites on Alpine and Big Sag are pretty easy to come by. |

05/23/2022 10:46AM My son and I based camped on Red Rock a few years ago July and had no trouble finding a spot, but I know usage is up. Red Rock only has 7-8 sites, but worst case scenario if you can't find one is you're only a short paddle and 1 medium portage into Alpine which has 15+ sites..so I wouldn't think you'd get shut out. |

05/23/2022 07:33AM We have four guys looking to go in sometime in mid-July. I've been to Red Rock several times and it seems like it is pretty heavily used. What are the chances we'd not be able to find a campsite that time of the year. Thanks |
