Ben,
Nice report I had not read this before. Sounds like that canoe was a SHIP! You will have to let me know your secret for walleye's!
I seem to be jinxed on the fishing. I like the story a lot, some day you need to share your pictures with me!

Thanks, I am putting on a more permanent patch as we speak. The canoe will be ready to go soon. My next adventure is in the same area in the WCPP, only taking in a little more... I hope. I'm thinking 18 to 20 days, solo in August.

Ben - Thanks for a great trip report. I am glad you had a great time. That must have been a real adventure full of challenges. Sounds like fishing was good and you ate well.
I bet your bed felt good after the trip! 12 days is a long time and you only took one layover day!
I am going to read that story of Martin's in Canoestories.com
Are you working on putting a permanent patch on the canoe now?
Where are you off to next?

That was quite a trip! Nothing better then fresh Walleye for dinner. Maybe next time while paddling through rapids you two will communicate on which way to go. :>)
