Ellahalley, as pilot you are not allowed to guess either.

Long Island Lake (JK I think that has 4 portages)

Are we supposed to guess this one too, or do we keep that quiet and focus on the first Lake? Cause I know that second lake with zero doubt.

sns: "LindenTree: "I haven't seen this thread all winter so I will start.
Name that lake #1
Looking east from a campsite in the BW.
"
South Temperance?
I do know what lake the aerial is from..."
sns got it with South Temperance.
It is the lake where I first found the injured paddler on last June. I posted a thread on the SAR that I had to launch for the injured party.
Your up sns.
May the rivers be crooked and winding, and your portages lonesome, leading to the most amazing view.

Sweet.
The aerial is Cherokee.
Need to pass the torch to someone else on starting the "name that lake #2" thread - not in a position to put up photos. Anyone want to volunteer?

sns: "Me too! I have google maps up with the view rotated to the exact angle of the plane. Ugh - I was zoomed out too far on portages to see that tiny eastern one on So. Temp.LindenTree: "I haven't seen this thread all winter so I will start.

Yep, go to google maps, turn to satelite view, and then Ctrl and using your mouse can turn the North South axis to rotate. ;-)
This is my screen shot reference, so I knew you were talking about Cherokee.
