It sounds like your maiden voyage into the BW went well; I remember you asking lots of questions. Glad it went well and you guys enjoyed it.

very nice trip report and photos. having similar interests in fishing really helps since it sounds like you did a lot of fishing. feel free to post a photo when you get your fish back from the taxidermist!

you might consider a crazy creek seat for the canoe that also doubles as a campchair. i use both the canoe seat plus a separate Helinox chair for in camp since getting up off the ground isn't as fun as it used to be.

there is also a photography forum on this site where you can post your photos.

Good Report and glad you got to catch some trophy fish toward the end. Here is a suggestion on something that you may not be aware of. The fish you kept are likely 10 years old. Normally, it is not a good idea to keep such large fish because they are the brood stock for the future. Consider that if you want a fish mount, you can have a taxidermist do what is called a "replica mount." Here you only need a picture and measurement. The only reason you were able to keep these fish, if not intended for consumption, is because you were near your take out point. In the future, if you catch a big fish mid trip or far from your take out you can take pictures and do a replica mount. I have kept some big fish on my trips in the past but no longer do so. Keep this in mind for your likely future trips and future trophies. Tight lines, JerryG
