Ransburg Scout Reservation Bloomington IN

Just got back from a week with the scouts at Ransburg in Bloomington IN.

Nice camp. What was really cool is the Ransburg "X" program. It's geared to 16 and older who do not need meritbadges.

They got to play around all week. Spelunking, water skiing, ATV, and a bunch of other stuff.

Was a great way to get the older boys in Camp who don't need to go for Merit Badges.

"Pack lightly, Tread lightly"

Ransburg is great! It was my summer camp as a Scout many years ago.

I was lucky to spend some time with the Ransburg ranger at the BSA National Outdoor Conference week before last. The camp is in good hands.
