If the title of the forum is Photography in the BWCA then why are so many photos of other locations?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy all the photos. Just curious of the reasoning.

Here's the original photo a day requirement from when it started in 2013, set fourth by hobbydog:
As a way to get this forum going how about posting a picture a day. Rules would be only one picture a day but come back each day to post another. Doesn't have to be a recent one. The only criteria is that it highlights the great outdoors.

I'll be paddling the Bloodvein beginning August 1st and finishing up August 30th. Very excited. Would love to pick your brain :>)

Seagull Lake w/ 2 loons, September 2016. Missing canoe country! I'd give an awful lot to hear a loon in the wild.

Not much for photo ops around here lately. 105 degrees and everything brown. Sun setting through smoke from Detwiler fire in Mariposa county. 70500 acres and close to 100 structures gone.

A grab from my gopro and some enhancement in Topaz. The portage from Craven Lake to Ford Lake in WCPP. 1500 meters of the nicest portage you will ever find. The next portage from Ford to Artery is 2200 meters of pure torture.
