Does anyone know if the small creek that flows into the southwest corner of Antoine Lake can be paddled in good water? Or is it too shallow, choked with reeds, and/or blocked by beaver dams?

You must have the same idea I have: if you could bushwhack from Antoine into Lonely, it would save a LOT of paddling and portaging. Lonely and Antoine are both awesome lakes, and they are right next to each other, but there is no direct access between them. I've never actually been to Antoine, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. I may just have to go and find out for myself (not such a bad option, really!).

Like most creeks in Quetico it is not navigable. However it would be a great short cut if it was.

Thanks, jdddl8. I was not very optimistic, but it didn't hurt to ask.
