Looking for some advice.

I'm thinking of selling my Royalex Adirondack. I really love this canoe, but I need to purchase a larger canoe for taking extended trips with my wife and 4 year old daughter.

This canoe is in very good condition--only minor scratches and only used on flat water. I'm just wondering what a fair price would be for this boat?

Sold one about 18 months ago in very good condition with minor wear on the stems for $875. It lasted on the twin cities Craigslist for about one day, which made me feel like it was priced well enough.

I vote for asking what you paid for it. If my memory serves me well, which it doesn't always do ;) I think you bought it used and not that long ago.

Sidenote.......... are you doing an MEA trip?

If I can talk my wife into pulling the trigger on a new boat, I think I will ask $800 (a bit less than I paid for it).

ducks--yes, I'm headed up tomorrow for a three night trip. I'm going to give the wenonah canak solo a try this time. I'll let you know how it goes.

Have fun!!!!!!! Looks like it will be amazing weather. We are bringing our canoe this year for our Grand Marais MEA stay and will be doing a bwca daytrip instead of our usual hiking up the Gunflint Trail one of the days.
