ducks: "We just purchased tickets to the Toby Mac concert for little duckling's birthday present. The family is so excited to go!!!!! Steal My Show has been her favorite song since she was tiny."
That's my favorite of his, although; I really like that "Keep Walking" the more I hear it.
Ironically, our two favorites will be in our area within the same week in April. We will see the "Newsboys" in April and a week later "Casting Crowns." We've seen the "Newsboys" before and they are great. Have wanted to see "Casting Crowns" for a long time, but every time they've been close, it was bad timing (Once I was going to be in MN). Looks like I'm going to have to forgo Canoecopia to get those two weekend shifts off? But it will be worth it just to hear my two favorite groups and my favorite songs live:

BTW, funny story from when we saw the Newsboys the last time. The drummer, Duncan, took the wrong door after they exited the stage and came out the door in front of us going out the exit (LOL)! He laughed and let people take "Selfies" with him for a minute or so before waving and saying goodbye. I took a couple shots, but they were too poor in the bad lighting. If you ever get a chance to see them, GO! Michael Tait's voice is probably my all time favorite?

That is funny ozark!!
When my wife was in high school her youth group went out to Washington D.C. and while they were there they went to some big concert and D.C. Talk was one of the groups playing. Several guys were talking and hanging out with her and her friends and they didn't realize it was Toby Mac and the rest of the group until they went up on stage to perform :). I think seeing their faces at that moment would have been priceless. Now 25+ years later Toby Mac is her daughter's favorite singer.
To prepare for the concert ;) we've been youtubing Toby Mac songs and I'm shocked at how many of the songs that I hear on KTIS and Spirit 92 that I like so much are Toby Mac songs. I guess I don't pay very close attention to who the singers are when I listen to the radio.
And talking about Casting Crowns.......... whenever "Just be Held" comes on the radio little duckling gets all excited and says......... dad, your song for me is on and gives me a big hug ;) A few years ago she was at Children's Hospital for a week with an infection that had spread behind her eye and was getting close to her brain. After a couple nights of sleeping at the hospital I went home to spend time with our older daughter who was staying with a friend. I was having a hard time driving (1 hr from home) and this song came on and a "calm" came over me. God was talking to me through the perfect song at just the right time.

Nice stories, Ducks! Of course, Michael Tait was one of TMacs partners in the group "DC Talk." Most of the time my radio is tuned to "The Message" on Sirius/XM. It's funny how sometimes you hear just the song you need to hear during trying times, huh?

ducks: "What an amazing show!!!!! Little duckling said it was the best birthday present ever :)"
So glad she enjoyed it! We have two concerts, ironically, two subsequent weekends. We have the "Newsboys" Sunday April 8th and "Casting Crowns" Saturday April 14th. Favorite two within 6 days of each other! I thought, "If I go to these, there will be no trip to Canoecopia."Oh well, Canoecopia lost!
