I just purchased a Souris River Quetico 16 in Green LeTigre from fellow board member Atb. Thanks man!! It was great to meet him and our daughters became instant best friends :)

It was also fun to stop and show it off to MattM who purchased our SR Q18.5 in Nov. and just so happens to live very close to Atb.

I now have a canoe that will work for both my solo trips and for my daddy/daughter trips. No more renting :)

Sideways pic in the front yard and an upside down pic of it hanging from it's new resting place in our garage. Sorry, I haven't figured out how to get phone pics to post the right way on here.

That's a good boat for that purpose. I enjoyed mine and paddled solo, tandem, and three with a young one.

Super jealous! Been wanting to add one of those for a long time. When is your first chance to christen it?

Local lake as soon as ice out....... It's going to be a long wait. I hope to get it to the bwca sometime in May.

It might not be that long if the temperatures keep yo-yoing the way they have been this winter. Best of luck!

I think I saw your car and canoe in the frozen Cub parking lot this weekend in Minnetonka. I was thinking, well there’s an optimist!

Rotate them on your phone first.

I did the same and love it. I bought a second yoke for soloing because I usually put tackle under the front seat and the bow tends to be a little heavier during portaging. When configured like this the thwart makes a nice hand grip during portaging also.

Congrats and enjoy.
