Greetings all, I have just joined and this will be my first post.
3 buddies and myself are heading up the first week of June and plan to camp on Long Island. 1 friend of mine has been to BWCA many times, this will be my first trip, and his first time staying on Long Island. We plan to base camp there and make day trips out.

I was curious if you had any tips for us, we want to do a lot of fishing, and sight seeing. For fish we are hoping for Northern, Walleye, Bass, and trout.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your input!

Procuring to enable you with your exposition to can be a hard choice to make. There are numerous written work administrations you can discover on the web however to have one that comprehends the challenges and requests of making a scholarly paper are not normal. Papers is a multi-chaptered paper that must be point by point and insightful composed. Understudies think that its extremely difficult to articulate the work they have made over months or years of research. Not every person is honored with the endowment of word weaving and guaranteeing that it adjusts to particular scholastic composition rules is another predicament that you need to confront.

Long Island Lake is a nice base camp area with plenty of room for day trips to the East and South. As far as fishing, primarily lake trout and Northerns on Long Island Lake. No walleye or smallies.....atleast not in any numbers.....Get your fill of those on Ham or Cross Bay on your way in/out of your trip.....

Agree with Mike. No walleyes on LI and overall not a great fishing lake. Some Lakers during prime season. Day trip down to Frost and troll around the big island for Lakers. LI is a pretty lake but can be busy. Portages out the East to Muskeg and Kisk are rugged.

Long island is a grand lake to camp on. Many wonderful campsites. Fishing will provide you with modest size Northen Pikes. Trout are hard to get. Gordon lake has anecdotal catch of a small mouth bass. Frost will yield a trout if you work for it. Overall this is not the anglers paradise but scenery and topography makes up for occasional dinner fish fare.
My family stayed on sites 562 and 567 very ,very nice.

Long island is nice. Cross Bay lake on the way through has walleye and northern and has a very nice campsite on the south side which would be great to grab if open and you're not looking to trek as far. Also has a waterfall on the south end and a hidden one on the middle west side.
