My wife and I are finally going to float the river this coming August. Been on the to-do list for a few years. Probably will do more of the northern, calmer water. Those seven foot drops on the south end are for the more courageous than me!

North fork or south fork? Either way typically in August the river levels are down, rapids shouldn’t be big concern. This is my son doing stunts above slough gundy. River in flood. I love these rivers, fishing can be though, caught a giant catfish several years back, that monster pulled upriver in a strong current for a least twenty minutes.
