I see there is a small parking lot on the south west side of West Bearskin. We are going in the first week in June. Wondering if its ok to park there instead of using the Eastern put-in point?? Thanks!!

yes, take the hungry jack road until it ends in the parking area. be careful on that road, locals like to walk it, also numerous side drives with mailboxes. depending on your trip date you might end up parking along side the gravel road near the parking lot. sometimes it's full.
