I think with ice just out many areas in the northeast were slow for the opener? What have you hear or experienced?

i have a couple of friends up on fall lake right now , they went into pipestone bay caught a 29" pike and a baby pike , today they caught some eater walleyes on fall , thats all i've heard so far.

keep your line wet, good things will happen

Basswood on Saturday was a pretty good in terms of big fish (20 inches plus). 3 of us kept 10 fish but let go another 10 that were over the 20 inch slot. It was hard to find / catch "eater" walleyes
