Heading up next week. Read on the DNR website that there is brook trout in Baker Lake. Has anybody targeted them in this area? If so, any suggestions? A little new to trout fishing, but hoping for any kind of good fishing. Thanks.

In my experience, Baker Lake is usually so chock full of weeds that fishing for any species of fish would normally be quite difficult. But, the inlet/ outlet (river sections ) may prove to hold a few fish, although I've never caught brook trout there.

According to MN DNR Lake Finder website, there are no brookies in Baker Lake.
