Hi All-

Really appreciate all the helpful advice from so many willing participants here.

Going in Jun-03 with a less aggressive route than usual planned this year. Maybe exit at EP50 or come back around to EP47. This will be my first trip in a solo canoe (group of three, other two guys in a tandem), so the relatively easier water/portages will be good place to try it out.

I have searched threads and gathered input regarding fishing, but am unclear if there are any real good LT opportunities in this area. Primarily like to fish Eyes and SMB, but I love the fight the LT give, and I have not caught many of them in recent years. Any insight helps!

Been in through 47 a couple times in the last few years. Less canoe traffic if you head to Allen and Pillsbery. Allen site is good for a few 'eyes in the evening or early a.m., and had some decent smallie and pike topwater action a couple years ago. I didn't fish Pills much when I was there, but would like to give it a go again sometime. Meeds seems to receive some accolade. Gaskin is beautiful, but sometimes I get overwhelmed on a bigger lake and over think trying to find fish. Don't think there are any trout in the lakes I've mentioned, so can't help you there.

Wish you a great trip.
