very ansel adams-like! i hope this isn't recent with fresh snow on the mountainside.

tried some fishing today from the bank of the Minnesota river. got a small catfish (before they turn uglier) and a small carp (again before they turn ugly). both lived to see another day.

My favorite trees around the farm started blooming the other day, the Catalpas. The wood isn't much good for anything, it's soft and brittle. But the big, heart shaped leaves provide good summer shade and you can't beat the pretty, fragrant blossoms they decorate themselves with the first few weeks of June here.
