If you’re headed up soon, be aware. Watch for this car and this man. Be careful. Fugitive

So, an out-of-state criminal is heading our way? I say, "Shoot on sight, ship home in box".

Good to know. I head north Monday. With that widows peak, he sort of looks like a fatter, older version of Paul Ryan. In a white Beamer, should be easy to spot, but I'll practice up on my best Kung Fu moves anyway.

I'm leaving to head up there in three hours (after work). I can't imagine someone would leave a note telling the cops where they are going, but I'll be on the look out anyway I suppose. He's probably heading to Mexico while the cops swarm Ely.

That is what I thought was weird? But you never know?

He needs to get better at Leave No Trace. Seriously I hope they find him before he hurts anyone.

I hope he knows there might be a fire ban soon and brings a stove as a backup.

Probably heading to Secret Lake.

I had the same thought. Why would he tell them where he’s headed? But best be aware and on the lookout anyway. Have fun up there. I’m jealous. I can’t head up until September.

Maybe he’s hoping to find his way into Canada.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time,
Captain Ramius told Moscow where he was headed.

I'm thinking the border patrol is thinking the same... On both sides of the border. But, but but... He may have his rabc permit.

Exactly. And what convenient stealth mode than a protected wilderness. Of course, leaving such a note would indicate that's NOT where he's headed.

The guy looks pretty harmless in a general public sense. He had a domestic that he went haywire bat S crazy on and is trying to escape. Give the guy a week to cool off and he will come to his senses and I hope turn himself in. I’m heading up in a week for my third trip of the paddle/open water fishing season and I have no worries. Heart attacks scare me more.

If he's serious about hiding out, he'll also want to secure a PMA permit.
