You just might see a boat or two but these are some of the best lakes on the border. To miss seeing them because of the worry of a motor boat would be a shame.

I was up there this May, as 3 of us paddled from Lac La Croix to Lake Superior. We didn’t see any motor boats on any border lake up that way until we got to North/South Fowl. We did meet a gentleman who has a cabin on South Fowl, and he mentioned that there’s never much traffic on Mountain, Moose, etc. As mentioned above, definitely wouldn’t be a worry for most people and it’s a great area to visit, so don’t let that stop you.
