We got out on the 23rd from Fall Lake and had them in the water and air the whole trip. They weren't bad but maybe just starting.

Boom! Tonight farm lake. Big swarm, dragon flies chowing down, panfish chowing down in the shallows. Saw a few early evening and then 30 minutes later they where everywhere. Pretty cool.

We were on Alpine from June 20-24. Mayflies were definitely hatching but not thick. There were also a lot of clear minnow skeletons on the surface. Fishing was either ON or OFF. Nothing in between. One smallie I caught must have shook out 50 mayflies when I landed it. Mosquitoes got bad in the evening for about 2 hours each night.
