Just returned from Seagull lake with my family. Caught this magnificent beast (an honest 30 incher) trolling 15ft over 25ft of water with a purple silver crank on the windward side of the island we were camping on. It was around 7am and the barometric pressure was 30. Plenty of other fish were being caught AM/PM trolling. Leeches caught smallies/walleyes in 20ft + of water. Big rocks and major drop offs held fish. She was released :)

I'm no fishing expert, just thought I'd pass on what worked for us.

TREK33,

Super catch!

Now that you have reached the 30 inch walleye club ... now you will have to set your sights on a 33 incher ... given that you have “33” in your posting name TREK33 !

Heck, I have been trying to catch a 13 lb. walleye for 40 years ... hence, my name “Wally13”. Ahhh... someday !

Mike here at MT Enterprises we offer a service you may not be familiar with. "Surrogate fisherman" allows for the fulfillment of your life long dream without you actually having to be there. Our pro staff will catch your trophy for you! Then our technical staff will photoshop your face into that all important picture. Packages of course include digital file so you can share your special moment with friends and family but framed 8x10 or 10x14 are also available for a very reasonable price.

Why go through life malcontented and frustrated when happiness is only 1 click away?

Nice catch Trek!

btw, it was nice meeting you this year, @ the Kingfisher falls.

I'm going to plan on picking up some of those impulse grubs for next year!

Hey hey! Indeed it was nice chatting with you at the falls. I hope the rest of your trip went well. After a sleepless night due to Whippoorwills I moved on to Seagull and did well on Lakers. Blue/Silver Cleo of course.... ha!
