We are heading to Perent Lake the last week in September for a little BW surf and turf trip. Hoping to get at least a nice walleye dinner to go with the grouse (that we are also hoping to get).
It will be my new 1 yr old lab's first live hunting trip so expectations are not too high.
I am wondering if anyone has input on water levels for Hog Creek in the Fall and also if anyone has gone after Walleye in the fall on Perent and any grouse hunters that have hit the area around there - i am thinking of heading to the west of the lake towards the burn area and work some of that transition area.
Any input and/or advice is welcome, Thanks!

Was just there. Water was very high. We glided right over the beaver dams on hog. We stayed at the campsite right on the point where the west arm of the lake starts. Didn’t get to fish much because of the wind but did get walleyes in the islands there.
I am hoping the water stays high until we are there, initial planning meetings are looking like we are going to be packing heavy and riding low for this fall base camp trip!
