Has anyone here been to or have any info on Assawan in PMA 12? Years ago, back in the 90s, my brother and I tried to get back there when we were just teenagers while camping on Fishdance. We made it to the small unnamed lake between Fishdance and Assawan, but turned back part way into the bushwack from there to Assawan. We probably could have made it but didn't have a compass or GPS and we got a worried we might wander off course. To this day, far removed from my teenage years, it still nags me that we never made it back there.

Knowing what I do now about PMAs I am considering a trip back there sometime to settle an old score. Although we didn't have access to that kind of technology back then, it does seem like it could be reasonably deep with solid shorelines when viewed on Google Maps.
