I didn't know there were goliath grouper in the bwca... Very nice fish!

these two were my best. Both right at 20 inches.

I'll see your two smallmouth with my 2 am.
And I'll raise you a bluegill and ring perch and northern.

I caught about 40 smallys next to my foot one day ... all with leech and split shot and HOOK
Used fly rod and poppers
And floating jointed rapalas.

Ring perch? You must live on or next to the Mississippi.

Nice fish...

Mike here is a Largemouth I caught on a Z-man paddle tail (6-7” long), dragging over the deep weed edge a few few weeks ago. Don’t know if ya remember but caught one last year about the same size on the same lake using your Zman fluke technique over medium weed edge.

Those are really nice smallies!! But, they look like 15lbs. when you hold them that far away from your body:) What were the lengths?

The biggest was just shy of 22 the small one was 21.

some people talk the talk , but you my friend walk the walk ! even in the BW & Q not a lot of people consistently catch #6 smallies !

Nice bass Mike! I doubt they get much bigger than that out of the river.
