Thanks for sharing your report, and as always your photos are superb. The wild flowers were certainly cooperative! I just was on most of those same lakes, though fishing wasn't as good as yours. I too always struggle with that straight across or follow the shore dilemma.

Nice job and I always enjoy your pics. Some really nice sunsets too. I gotta ask how you took the one of you paddling into the sunset? I'm assuming a tripod and timer? Also, looks like the trout were hitting pretty good. Was it red or white flesh?

I found the trout using electronics. I have a Deeper fish finder. It seems to work pretty well, but charging it for two weeks can be an issue.
The last photo is along the Nina Moose River, just south of Agnes.

My cousin and I were on the campsite Sat & Sun before you. Peter caught a nice trout Sun morning and it was delicious. I really liked Oyster and that campsite. Thanks for sharing! We got to Oyster late on sat and that was the only open site. We passed it up, and i said there couldn't be two groups of idiots looking for a campsite this late in the day. We got back there about 9:30, after an hour of paddling.

Nice report and good fishing. What caught my eye was your comment about the turtle at the site on Hustler Lake. We used the same site in August of 2016 and we also had a turtle visitor. Funny. We were just going in for a swim and there it was. It scared the crap out of us. I figured it was looking for an easy meal of fish or else had been habituated to people feeding it fish scraps. We called it the turtle from hell because it kept hanging around, but it eventually returned to the depths.
