No photos. Was using a deep tail dancer 11 purpledescent with a 2oz snap weight and 150' of line out. Generally contour trolling in 60 fow. Caught them from Robbins Is to Eddy falls. Was too windy to go vertical on them with blade baits (would of loved to do that!). When trolling into a strong wind paddle hard for a few seconds after a strike. This will prevent slack in the line as you reach for your rod and allow the fish to hook itself as it pulls.

Well done! I always use the "two hard strokes" method of setting the hook while canoe trolling. Works great, upwind or down wind.

QueticoMike: "Those sounded like maybe one or two of those would make a good shore lunch. Sounds like a quality trip."
Yep!
Had to throw back many to get to some smaller eater size.
There must be some MONSTER NP in there as I caught several 3 pounders with fresh teeth marks on them.

Nice! Now I'm hungry for some reason :) Did you get into any decent pike?
