Well the fall is here and there's some white stuff on the ground.....soon the canoes will be all put away and another hard water season begins.

Glad we took the time to get out for a few nights before the freeze. We also did it in style with a Snowtrekker 11 x 12 wall tent, fishing, eating, exploring etc.. in Woodland Caribou....fun times. Hope everyone enjoys.

I could definitely see two trips up there in the future. For now however , hunting season has arrived and I must do a metamorphosis from gatherer (fishing/gardening) to hunter.

I like that narrow grate you bring to cook on, looks sturdy, simple, and easy to slip a couple of them in a pack.

hey Howard, these are the Purcell Trench Grills....awesome build quality and no shape edges as they are welded perfectly......highly recommend.

Thanks!
And BTW, WCPP is high on my list now, ever since watching your Canoecopia presentation last March.

I use the Traveller and Voyageur model of grill..

And thanks for stopping by the presentation....let me know if you need any more info on the park and the tripping opportunities there!

Thanks for posting an interesting slant on tripping. Loved your dog's response to the sizzling steak!

I didn't have time to watch the whole thing but I cracked up at that as well. The next frame he has this look of resignation as he stretches like, "maybe next time..."
